Waterfest
Leach Amphitheater 805 Witzel Avenue Oshkosh
Friday, June 14, 2013 - Friday, August 30, 2013
Happening every Thursday evening in the summer .... We enjoy our beautiful Wisconsin summer with the companionship of family, friends and associates in a park-like setting on the Fox River... Most of all, we are treated to an outstanding line-up of Jazz, Pop, Rock, R&B, Blues and Roots Music. Some of the greatest musicians of our time perform in an intimate and accessible venue. The food generally consists of Wisconsin's best brats and burgers served by anyone of a dozen or so community volunteer organizations. Depending on the weather and the artists strength of appeal anywhere from 2,500 to 7,500 visitors may be in attendance for any given evening. We generally enjoy about 60 to 70,000 guests during the entire 13 evenings of entertainment. The Oshkosh downtown eateries and clubs bustle before and after the event so come early, stay late, or both! The park opens at 6PM most nights and at 5PM on a few others. Music generally starts when the gates open and never runs past 11:00PM. Waterfest beats summer re-runs, keeps us outside and allows us home in time for the nightly news. There is a cost to attend this event.Waterfest
