Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort
DW Destination
The recovery process at Bear Paw Resort has been completed and on the 1- year anniversary of their disaster, Bear Paw Resort officially re-opened for business, featuring a brand new Restaurant/bar, store and several new lodging options. The transformation in one year was amazing. Although the scars from the June 07 tornado are still visible, the spirit and positive vibe given off by the new Resort and amazing staff is unbelievable. The Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort is once again the place for adventure enthusiasts to stay and play in Northeastern Wisconsin!
We encourage you to experience the outdoors at Bear Paw Outdoor Adventures. Located in Langlade County in northeastern Wisconsin, Bear Paw provides whitewater kayaking and canoeing on the famous Wolf River and year round adventures through various other outdoor sport venues. With their own trails and access to several others, the folks at Bear Paw provide everything you need for an adventure vacation – including a variety of room options for lodging that provide cabin warmth and an “up north” feel. The resort also features a restaurant and bar – the perfect place to hang out and plan your next big adventure! Come and experience the breathtaking scenery in forests and along the river.

Extreme Wisconsin
Past Episode - Click here to order.
In this Discover Wisconsin special, we feature four companies that provide “extreme” or adventure sport activities. For those who want a little challenge to their recreational pursuits, we offer Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort, Wildman Whitewater Ranch, Chequamegon Adventure Company and the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association (CAMBA). We go whitewater kayaking and canoeing on the Wolf River at the Bear Paw resort. At Wildman, we’ll look at some of the choices for kayak trips and ATV trail tours, explore the 60-foot tall rope course, and check out the tubing and golf options for all family members. Chequamegon Adventure Company takes Discover Wisconsin on an adventure of our own with a kayak trip, camping, and an adventure bike trip. And finally, in the beautiful Chequamegon National Forest in Northwest Wisconsin, CAMBA shows Stephanie some of their 300 miles of off-road bike trails. All this and more, in this “extreme” episode of Discover Wisconsin! |
