Up to 20 area chefs and wanna-be hot shots craft chili concoctions for prizes and bragging rights at this popular annual fundraiser. Awards include overall best chili, best mild chili, best theme (costume) and People’s Choice. Additional activities include a raffle, silent auction and live music. Hosted at Creekside Place, the Chili Cook-Off is just $15 per person; children 10 and younger enter free with a paying adult. The event, sponsored by the Evansville Community Partnership, supports fireworks at the community’s Fourth of July multi-day festival.
