The 10th annual Chequamegon Bay Birding and Nature Festival will be held May 19-21, 2016. The Chequamegon Bay area is a popular birding destination, with a variety of habitat types and more than 300 bird species. The event offers more than 100 activities to choose from, including guided field trips, exhibits, hands-on workshops and films. Each activity is guided by knowledgeable local and regional experts who love sharing their passion for the natural world. The Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and County Highway G in Ashland, will serve as the home base for the three-day event.
