Freedom Fest started as a “backyard BBQ” in 2002 and has developed into one of the largest community events in the area. Between 25,000 and 30,000 people attend Freedom Fest each year, with its great attractions, delicious food, exciting carnival rides, excellent stage performances, and of course, an incredible fireworks display. There is no cost for admission, parking, rides, concert or fireworks. Even the food vendors’ prices are discounted from a normal festival. The festival now includes the Day of Compassion from 10am to 2pm, with a free health clinic and educational seminars by Mercy Health Systems. There is also a children’s area with a petting zoo, face painting and balloon animals. Join this family-friendly, Christ-honoring, patriotic event!
