The Green Lake County Fair is a county-supported fair that offers a fun, safe, family-friendly event. It is held annually the first weekend of August. The Fair is a long tradition that locals and visitors anxiously look forward to. The Fair remains an excellent venue to recognize the youth (and adults) of our County as they demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have acquired through project areas and life. Any resident of Green Lake County can exhibit at the Fair. Youth and adults from around the county will compete for blue ribbons, trophies and bragging rights in categories that range from pie baking, flower growing, animal showing, woodworking and photography. The Fair provides musical entertainment, educational programs, track events (local Truck/Tractor Pull, Wisconsin Tractor Pull Association pull and Demolition Derby-Hollywood Motorsports), carnival-A&P Enterprise Shows and midway and lots of good quality family-themed activities. Did we mention food? Food from specially-chosen vendors, along with Farm Bureau favorites, ice cream and BBQ. The food is delicious! All those fun, “county fair treats.” The Green Lake County Fair is truly a FREE fair. No gate admission is charged or parking fee. It’s Wisconsin at its best and it happens all around the state in every one of our 72 counties. The Green Lake County Fair is know as “the best little fair around”…..come and see why!
