The Mineral Point Historical Society Presents our final Jammin’ on the Porch event of the season. Mark your calendars for Beth Kille playing on the beautiful lawn at the historic Gundry House.
Beth Kille is a 22-time Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) award winning artist from Madison, WI who has been cranking out Americana-Rock tunes since 2000. From solo house concerts to full-band festival shows, her love for the stage and genuine passion for performance shine through in all settings. Kille’s stage prowess was recognized in 2011 when she received Artist of the Year honors at the Madison Area Music Awards. She has also been honored twice with the MAMA for Female Vocalist of the Year (’06, ’10) and was nominated for Singer-Songwriter of the Year in 2014 and for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2017 and 2018 by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI). She joined forces with the guitarist Michael Tully in 2012 when he agreed to play on her award winning album, “Dust.” Tully, who won the 2015 MAMA Guitarist of the Year Award, easily matches Kille’s energy on stage with his lightening fast guitar work and New Yorker swagger.
Cress Spring Bakery out of Bluemounds, WI will also be serving up flaming hot pizza pies from their mobile wood-fired pizza wagon, as well as some tasty appetizers, and desserts
