120+ fine artists are juried in 11 media making for a variety of work for patrons to purchase. Food stands, live entertainment, a family art area with hands-on kids projects, a Young Collectors Market and Scholarship Silent Auction add to the fun and excitement of the annual Festival of Arts. Located on the 400 Block and Third Street, in the heart of Wausau’s downtown River District, the Festival runs Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. The festival is open to the public and all entertainment is free of charge. Also visit Art in the Park at Marathon Park, the galleries and gift shop at the Center for the Visual Arts and the opening of Birds in Art at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum using the free shuttle bus service.
