Children are invited to participate in our Stick Pony Rodeo at Willow Springs Garden from 10am to 4pm. All rodeo events are done with stick horses and other toy props, and children are encouraged to bring their own ponies and western attire. Registration starts at 11am and you may register up to the event, to pre-register call 715-675-1171. Stick Pony Rodeo Contest: Starts at 1:00pm with a ground entry by the Wisconsin River Pro Rodeo Queen contestants. Announcer Mark Wallace will keep the rodeo entertaining with the following events: horse rides, barrel racing, bull lassoing, big boot race, calf tie, steer roping, and flag race. The Rodeo: All the events are done with stick horses and other toy props. Children are welcomed to bring their own stick horse and we encourage all to come in your western attire. Must wear tied or slip on shoes no flip flops or sandals will be allowed. We will have plenty of adult assistance for the little buckaroos. Two age groups – $3 entry fee. A Western Pig Roast is served from noon until gone. $10 for a two sandwich dinner, $8 for a one sandwich dinner, and a child’s plate for $4.
