America's Dairyland - Perception versus Reality
Airdates: Jan 30-31, 2010

In this episode of Discover Wisconsin-America’s Dairyland we separate fact from fiction about the agriculture and dairy industries, dispelling myths about how farmers treat the land and their animals. Farmers will educate us about the ways they are preparing the land for future generations. It’s a little known fact that farmers often take better care of their herd than they do themselves; sacrificing improvements to their homes in favor of upgrading their barns. Keeping Wisconsin green and growing is central to how they run their farms and that is helping the state retain its status as America’s Dairyland.
