Chippewa Falls
Years ago, people came to Chippewa Falls for its pure spring water, but today they come for so much more! While this riverside city is rich with history, small town charm and a family-friendly atmosphere, it also boasts big-city entertainment that draws visitors from all over the Midwest. Take a walk through bustling downtown Chippewa Falls and explore the many unique shops and restaurants, including iconic establishments like Olson’s Ice Cream and Sokup’s Market. Practically synonymous with the city itself, a visit to Leinenkugel’s Brewery is a must! And if you’re a wine-lover, River Bend Vineyard and Winery offers a gorgeous place to relax and sip award-winning wine.
Chippewa Falls is also a favorite destination for biking enthusiasts, with scenic trails that connect to Eau Claire, Durand and Menomonie. If you’re looking to do something a little more relaxing, grab a tube or kayak at Loopy’s and head down the river! When you get back, grab a bite to eat and an ice-cold Leinie’s at the tiki bar overlooking the water. Chippewa Falls is also home to Irvine Park, with more than 300 acres of beautiful trails and picnic areas, including a free zoo!
