Home improvement projects don’t have to only be about giving your house a glow up. With Focus on Energy’s help, you could help make your home more comfortable and energy efficient while you’re at it! If you’re thinking about taking on a renovation project, why not also think about doing something good for the planet and your wallet?
Throughout this series, created in partnership with Focus on Energy, we will meet Wisconsinites in their homes and businesses to learn about their own energy saving ways that have put their spaces onto a journey of sustainability.
Whether you’re looking to save some money on your energy bills or want to increase your energy efficiency for the environment, Focus on Energy has projects that will help you reach your goals.
In this segment, we’re focusing on residential projects. We’ll hear from three Wisconsin homeowners who have worked with Focus on Energy to improve their lives and homes. Angi Ackard has just completed her first project of installing solar panels after seeing her neighbors do the same and she has already begun seeing the savings. Jason Iverson has been working towards a carbon-zero-footprint for the last twenty years and is getting closer with every project that he completes. Patrick and JoAnn Kane have also been working on their home’s improvements for years and have found an immediate increase of comfort that came along with better sealing and insulating their home.
