Door County is one of Wisconsin's most popular vacation destinations - and for good reason! In this episode of Discover Wisconsin, Marie heads up the Door County peninsula to explore the bay-side towns of Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. In Sturgeon Bay, she hops in a kayak to get a close-up look at the ships and bridges that decorate the harbor, and stops by Cherry Lanes Arcade Bar downtown. We also take you to The Lodge at Leathem Smith, Door County's very first resort. In Egg Harbor, it's all about great shopping, tasty eateries, beautiful sunsets, and fun festivals. Marie takes in the area on one of their free Eggy Bikes and ends the day with a sunset concert in the park at the Peg Eagan Performing Arts Center. Lastly we explore the gorgeous grounds of the Landmark Resort, a sprawling property with so many amenities, it feels like a home away from home.
