Geneva Lake’s pristine waters are a scenic centerpiece for its surrounding Lake Shore Path. Unlike any other lakeside walkway, this roughly 22-mile path stretches around the entirety of Geneva Lake! The path follows the edge of the water and rests within the stunning landscapes of the area’s most historic and majestic summer homes including the Blacktoft Mansion, Wrigley Estates, Casa del Sueño, and Glen Annie. Originally a Native American trail used by the Potawatomi, the path remains a treasured route to explore the neighborhood’s history, elegance, and charm. The true magic of the path lies in the maintenance and care by the lakeside homeowners who have adorned their portions of the path with charismatic signs, exquisite gardens, and delightful statues. Their thoughtful embellishments serve as a humble invitation to come experience and enjoy the enchanting nature of the Lake Shore Path.
