Within 20 miles, you can enjoy all that Sheboygan County has to offer! With rich history at the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Wade House, people can travel through time for a slice of what people lived through in the mid-1800s. It’s full of activities that give their visitors an idea of the history of Sheboygan County including a tour of an operating water-powered saw mill, blacksmith shop, and a historic hotel where you can fully experience what a stay would be like. It’s more than just seeing what history was like but actually getting to experience it!
Beyond the historical site, Sheboygan County is home to multi-generational companies! Sargento Foods and The Kohler Company are both pillar companies that have helped to shape the county over the years. Our host, Andrea Boehlke, visits with Louie Gentine of Sargento Foods and Laura Kohler of The Kohler Company to learn more about these iconic companies’ beginnings. We’re so fortunate to have these amazing companies in Wisconsin!
