Throughout the last year, facing the COVID-19 pandemic, UW-Oshkosh has come to the community’s aid by transforming its campus into resources for the public. They have turned campus facilities into both testing sites and vaccination clinics, calling on both staff and students from the College of Nursing to be of service. Being able to work in public health during a crisis like this is beyond any classroom training they could receive, and it’s making the staff at the university incredibly proud. Public health is working year-round, but during these times, this is an area of Wisconsin that has really shined.
