Midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay is the city of Sheboygan also lovingly referred to as the Brat Capital of the World and the Malibu of the Midwest! It's also one of our favorite places to recommend to families looking to appease the whole fambam. Here's why:
Surfs up!
As one of only five U.S. Sailing Centers, Sheboygan welcomes sailors from all over the world to take on Lake Michigan.
If you want to experience the area like a local, take up sailing on the waters of Sheboygan. The city’s passionate ties to the water sport are just as interesting as the activity itself; Sheboygan is credited for putting women’s sailing on the map during the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Good eats
Sheboygan knows a thing or two about good eats! Stop by Trattoria Stefano on 8th Street. [Photo by Trattoria Stefano]
Sheboygan knows how to serve up a great dish. When you’re in town, tackle a 12-inch burger at Frankie’s Pub & Grill or enjoy an authentic Italian meal at Trattoria Stefano. And you absolutely, positively can’t leave without indulging in a good ol’ Wisconsin bratwurst. This city takes their brats very seriously. (Case in point: there’s even brat pizza.)
Adventure city
Sheboygan County offers loads of fun with world-class golf, a top motorsports racetrack, miles of bike trails, incredible hiking and the tallest wooden tower in Wisconsin.

So…how do you Sheboygan?
Sheboygan is also known for world-class sport fishing on Lake Michigan.
I was there for fishing & duck hunting with my college friend Allan who is from Sheboygan.wi. So beautiful place. People who lives there should feel proud & thanks to God.
