Midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay is the city of Sheboygan also lovingly referred to as the Brat Capital of the World and the Malibu of the Midwest! It's also one of our favorite places to recommend to families looking to appease the whole fambam. Here's why:

Surfing is a big deal in Sheboygan. There's kite, wind or traditional surfing - pick your favorite style or try 'em all!
Surfing not your thing? There’s a nice range of other watersports, such as SUP (stand-up paddle boarding), fishing, boating, kayak, jet ski or sail on Lake Michigan, too.
As one of only five U.S. Sailing Centers, Sheboygan welcomes sailors from all over the world to take on Lake Michigan.
If you want to experience the area like a local, take up sailing on the waters of Sheboygan. The city’s passionate ties to the water sport are just as interesting as the activity itself; Sheboygan is credited for putting women’s sailing on the map during the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Sheboygan knows how to serve up a great dish. When you’re in town, tackle a 12-inch burger at Frankie’s Pub & Grill or enjoy an authentic Italian meal at Trattoria Stefano. And you absolutely, positively can’t leave without indulging in a good ol’ Wisconsin bratwurst. This city takes their brats very seriously. (Case in point: there’s even brat pizza.)
