In this episode of Discover Wisconsin, hosts Marie Justice and Jack Taylor head to four places across the state that celebrate Wisconsin’s unique dairy heritage. At the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center in Manitowoc, visitors can explore 10,000 feet of exhibit space, go on a farm tour, and witness a live cow birth in their Land o’ Lakes Birthing Barn. And in Green County, Jack heads to the National Historic Cheesemaking Center to learn about early cheesemaking and how it came to be so important to the state of Wisconsin. In Plain, Marie learns about how Cedar Grove Cheese is making award-winning cheese in an innovative, environmentally conscious way. Lastly, we take you to Marshfield to visit Nasonville Dairy and Weber’s Farm Store, where you can order your fresh cheese out of a drive thru window! Here in Wisconsin, we love dairy.
