The bluffs of the driftless, the bank of the Mississippi, the historic charm of the city, few places are as beautiful as La Crosse. Marie chats with Mayor Mitch Reynolds about some of the Main Street gems such as the world-class baker at Meringue Bakery & Café, and the surrounding gorgeous landscapes.
La Crosse takes pride in being one of the largest preserved historic districts in Wisconsin, if not the country, which makes for unique dining and shopping experiences, and subsequently making the new La Crosse Center a destination for conferences and events.
If you haven’t been lately, it’s time to revisit this thriving, vibrant area with access to a whole bunch of cool things, including the arts district. The plethora of recreational activities near downtown also drives families in from all over for fantastic experiences of all sorts.
