Waste management professionals in rural communities and larger cities throughout Wisconsin take matters of human health and environmental protection very seriously. The work they do is complex and ultimately aims to better the lives of the citizens they serve. Wisconsin residents and businesses use landfills for over nine million tons of waste each year.
