  1. Bayfield Race Week Regatta
    Where: Bayfield
    When: Monday, July 4, 2016 – Friday, July 8, 2016
    Time: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
    Details: Head to the gateway of the Apostle Islands at Bayfield, Wis. for an exhilarating Independence Day celebration. There are eight races in all, US Sail Association judging, social gatherings, awards! Race Week has become a wonderful tradition for competitive sailors on Lake Superior.   2. evansvilleEvansville 4th of July Celebration
    Where: Lake Leota Park, Evansville
    When: Friday, July 1, 2016 – Monday, July 4, 2016
    Time: 7:30 a.m. to dusk
    Details: Historic Lake Leota Park is the annual scene for great live music and notable, spectacular fireworks soaring over the lake. A pretty park with huge old trees, Lake Leota Park is on the route of the 1 mile walk/5K and 10K run, and the ending place for a wonderful local parade. Plus, meet friendly locals serving beer under the big tent, reminisce at the vintage car show, and cheer on your favorite team at the softball tournament.   3. Sturtevant Fireworks Fest
    Where: Firemen’s Park, Sturtevant
    When: Sunday, July 3, 2016 – Sunday, July 3, 2016
    Time: 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
    Details: Another family-friendly favorite: Sturtevant Fireworks Fest is full of great food and tons of fun, with fireworks lighting up at dusk. We love that admission is free, too! (You just have to pay a nominal fee for parking.)
  4. Racine Fourth FestRacine Fourth Fest Parade
    Where: Downtown Racine
    When: Monday, July 4, 2016 – Monday, July 4, 2016
    Time: 9 a.m.
    Details: Racine’s pre-parade begins at 8:30 and features vehicles made in Racine. Known far and wide as the Midwest’s largest July 4th parade, Fourth Fest features living replicas of national monuments as a salute to our veterans.   5. Star Spangled Jubilee
    Where: Downtown Boulder Junction
    When: Sunday, July 3, 2016 – Sunday, July 3, 2016
    Time: Noon to 1 p.m.

  6. Phillips 4th of July Celebration
    Where: Downtown Phillips

    Time: 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
    Details: Journey on over to Price County for a classic Independence Day celebration in the tiny town of Phillips. There’ll be concessions before and after the 2 p.m. parade on Lake Avenue and Highway 13, a community auction after the parade at the Lionite/Elk Lake Park Pavilion followed by a boat parade at 9 p.m. and a fireworks show over Lake Duroy at Bostrom Park.   7. Independence Day on the Rock
    Where: Traxler Park, Janesville
    When: Monday, July 4, 2016 – Monday, July 4, 2016
    Time: 3 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
    Details: The Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team presents this unique Independence Day Show! In addition to the water ski show, enjoy an “anything that floats” competition, Janesville Idol singing contest, food, beer tent, inflatable houses and fireworks. RAJ Stadium in Traxler Park provides ample seating along the Rock River where this professional water ski show team performs pyramids (including a 5-high pyramid), barefoot skiers, ski jump acrobatics, a ballet line, swivel line and doubles performers, etc. This shows is free and open to the public (donations are welcome) and concessions are available.     Where: Red Cliff Pow-Wow Grounds, Red Cliff

    Time: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
    Details: Experience traditional Chippewa hospitality and culture at the Red Cliff Pow-wow grounds overlooking Lake Superior.   9. Fifield Community Festival & Lawn Mower Races
    Where: Fifield Ball Park, Fifield

    Details: Take in this jam-packed schedule at the Fifield Community Festival & Lawn Mower Races: There’s Arts & crafts in the park, food & beverages at the park, kids games, dunk tank, lawn mower races, duck race, live music, raffle drawing, plus volleyball and horseshoe fun for everyone all on Saturday; Sunday, there’s a pancake breakfast at the First Congregational Church, Community Church Service at the Park and a bake sale at the park sponsored by St. Francis of Assisi Church.
