Evansville 4th of July Celebration

Details: Historic Lake Leota Park is the annual scene for great live music and notable, spectacular fireworks soaring over the lake. A pretty park with huge old trees, Lake Leota Park is on the route of the 1 mile walk/5K and 10K run, and the ending place for a wonderful local parade. Plus, meet friendly locals serving beer under the big tent, reminisce at the vintage car show, and cheer on your favorite team at the softball tournament. Racine Fourth Fest Parade

Details: Racine’s pre-parade begins at 8:30 and features vehicles made in Racine. Known far and wide as the Midwest’s largest July 4th parade, Fourth Fest features living replicas of national monuments as a salute to our veterans. Details: The Rock Aqua Jays Water Ski Show Team presents this unique Independence Day Show! In addition to the water ski show, enjoy an “anything that floats” competition, Janesville Idol singing contest, food, beer tent, inflatable houses and fireworks. RAJ Stadium in Traxler Park provides ample seating along the Rock River where this professional water ski show team performs pyramids (including a 5-high pyramid), barefoot skiers, ski jump acrobatics, a ballet line, swivel line and doubles performers, etc. This shows is free and open to the public (donations are welcome) and concessions are available.
