Marshfield is home to many wonderful opportunities to get out and explore with the family. One place that is definitely a highlight in the area is Jurustic Park. This outdoor sculpture park is a great place to get out and explore a fantasy world of creatures made out of rusted metal. But if you’re wanting to get out more you can discover more creatures on the Downtown Jurustic Trail which is a self-guided walking tour in downtown Marshfield!
Another family-friendly adventure you can experience is at the Wildwood Park & Zoo in Marshfield. Since 1937, this zoo has grown to be one of the state’s premiere parks! In the zoo, you can see twin Kodiak bears and even check out the newly expanded Cougar Exhibit! The zoo hours change by season so be sure to check the days and hours before you head to Wildwood here.
One other must-do in Marshfield is visiting the Wenzel Family Plaza in downtown Marshfield. Year-round you can find a variety of family activities from concerts, ice skating, and a summer splash pad! Learn more about events happening year-round at the Wenzel Family Plaza here.
Not only does Marshfield offer a plethora of family-fun activities all year round but it offers a community that many people enjoy day in and day out. If Marshfield is your community and you’re looking for a long-lasting balanced career, check out Marshfield Clinic Health Systems

The array of options for food in the Marshfield area is second-to-none, so if you are a big foodie and that is important to you and your lifestyle…Marshfield could be the perfect fit! To kick things off, one coffee shop you have to visit is The Daily Grind. This gourmet coffee shop has delicious coffee and tea, as well as breakfast and lunch specials, including a homemade soup. This cozy atmosphere is definitely worth a stop!
It wouldn’t be a true Wisconsin town without a classic supper club and Marshfield definitely has that! Belvedere Supper Club has been the go-to supper club in Marshfield since 1977. Owned by Dale and Patricia Leffel, Belvedere was built on their love for the area and their desire to share their passion with Marshfield. At the supper club, you can find a menu filled with delicious seafood and steaks, as well as homemade dinner rolls and salads made from scratch!
And if you’re looking for a bit of a fine dining experience, look no further than Libby McNeill’s Food and Drink. At Libby McNeill’s you will get a taste into Midwest comfort food taken to the next level with locally sourced ingredients from the Marshfield area itself! What was once a maker of canned brined corned beef, became a staple in the Marshfield community. Now, this unique bit of history to Marshfield is held in Libby McNeill’s.
Now these are only three hot-spot locations that range from getting a delicious cup of coffee to sitting down for a gourmet meal, but that’s not all! Marshfield is home to many other foodie locations that you’ll definitely need to explore! If foodie hot-spots and family-fun activities are on your list of must-haves in the community you live in, Marshfield can certainly be the place for you.
