Wood Technology Center | Know Your Wisconsin
From paper products to furniture, Wisconsin produces billions of dollars in forest products each year. As a result, there’s a growing demand for skilled, forest industry workers. Antigo, Wisconsin is home to the Wood Technology Center of Excellence – an extension of Northcentral Technical College. Wisconsin has 17 million acres of forest land and 1,500 companies that are producing forest products, which means that this industry employs more than 64,000 people in the state. Training in this program is abundant, with opportunities to learn different skills and train the next generation of forest industry leaders. Not to mention, these programs offer 100 percent job placement for graduates, so students can be confident they’re entering into an industry with a bright future. Learn more: http://bit.ly/391qXwM
