Part of the Operating Engineers Local 139’s focus is supporting military organizations like Hogs for Heroes. Previously hosted by OE Local 139 and the American Legion Post 139, the Poker Run takes motorcyclists from Wonewoc and beyond. Exploring this year’s newest route, Lindsey heads out on UTV. She gets word that OE Local 139’s support spans much further to Lake Tomahawk, where she discovers their involvement with Camp American Legion. Nearby, in Coloma, Lindsey visits OE Local 139’s training center, where students learn skills and future growth opportunities. Lindsey wraps up her time with Operating Engineers Local 139 at the annual family picnic, where she gets a sneak peek into the skilled workforce of the next generation. She meets the members, understands the importance of the Union, and sees the true pride and joy in each creation.
