Snowmobiling
Snowmobilers, you won’t have to go far to find a trail. Nestled within the Underdown Recreation Area are designated routes waiting to be explored. And beyond that, Lincoln County boasts more than 300 miles of groomed trails, so the adventure truly never ends. No matter how far you want to ride, the trails are calling your name!

Any avid hunters following along? This is the season you’ve been waiting for: small game season! And Lincoln County is the place to be. Whether you’re after game birds like pheasant and partridge, or small game mammals like rabbits and coyotes, Lincoln County is home to an impressive array of species. For high-speed thrills, plan your visit around the World Championship Ice Drags—a true Wisconsin original! This one-of-a-kind event is a little slice of heaven on Lake Alexander and home to the fastest quarter mile on ice, right in small-town Merrill. As the longest-running event of its kind in the world, the Merrill Ice Drags are still going strong after 60 years.
