Mental Wellness

Seasonal Affective Disorder is a depression that comes during the winter months due to the cold weather and staying indoors. It’s estimated that between 10-20% of the US population suffers from Seasonal Affective Disorder. This video discusses the importance of exercise and adventure during the winter months, and the benefits of taking the time to get outside. Whether it’s sledding, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice fishing, or snowmobiling – choosing an activity that includes sunshine, fresh air, and physical activity is the best way to fight off depression.
