Alright ‘murica…feast your eyes on the heart of the Midwest this weekend. With brilliant fireworks displays set to light up the Wisconsin sky, the state shines bright each and every 4th of July. Here are just a few of our top picks for fireworks shows in Wisconsin:

  1. Eau Claire

    Beginning at 10 p.m., the Festival Foods Fireworks Extravaganza is one for the books. Take in the awesome colors that burst over the city from a number of fantastic viewing areas including Carson Park, Phoenix Park, Half Moon Lake or Lakeview Cemetery.
  2. Egg Harbor

    Make your way to Harbor View Park in lovely Egg Harbor for a spectacular fireworks display on Monday night. On Tuesday, get a good seat for the Independence Day Parade that was voted best of Door County. The UW Marching Band will be in town performing, too!

  3. Evansville

    The town is small but its 4th of July celebration is anything but. Evansville is bustling over the 4th with activities planned from Friday through Tuesday night including a massive parade, endless live music, an arcade tent, baseball all weekend long and one heck of a fireworks show on Tuesday night.

  4. Green Bay

The event features many stages of entertainment including multiple national artists and patriotic ceremonies plus children’s rides, ski shows on the Fox River and of course the area’s largest and most brilliant fireworks display, set to music!
  5. Green Lake

    A wide variety of entertainment acts will perform right up to the moment of the first crack of the community fireworks display over beautiful Dartford Bay. Everyone gathers, brings blankets and takes a seat down by the lake to patiently wait for the fireworks. This is a great time to catch up with friends and enjoy each other’s company as well as the views from the shores of the lake.
  6. Manitowoc

    This one’s for you, maritime enthusiasts. Fourth on the Shore in Manitowoc offers up fishing events, plenty of food and great music, Be sure to check out the Wisconsin Maritime Museum and the USS Cobia, where Mayor Nickels will sound the horn. There’ll also be face painting, carnival games and a food wagon as well as – you guessed it! – phenomenal fireworks at dusk.
  7. Madeline Island

    Fireworks over an island? Now that’s a concept that’s hard to beat – especially in Wisconsin! Get to Madeline Island a little early on Tuesday for the parade that kicks off at 10:30 a.m. Then enjoy the wonderful Celebration on the Green in front of the Madeline Island Museum (where you can also take advantage of reduced admission throughout the day!). The gorgeous fireworks will dazzle over Lake Superior beginning at 10 p.m.

  8. Milwaukee

If you’re heading to the city for the weekend, take in the Downtown Milwaukee Fireworks show at the lakefront for an hour-long display of luminous splendor in Veterans Park starting at 9:25 p.m on Monday.
  9. Phillips
    Another destination representing the small town category on this list, Phillips puts on a sensational 4th of July celebration year after year with a parade on Tuesday afternoon, followed by an auction, a Sidewalk Chalk Fest and, of course, fireworks at dusk.
  10. Stevens Point
    fireworks_SPHead to central Wisconsin for Riverfront Rendezvous and prepare to “ooh and ahh” over Stevens Point’s spectacular fireworks show. But before you do, be sure to watch the Central Wisconsin Water Ski Show and the Sr. Sixers Basketball Game plus delight in live music, food, refreshments and more!
