How To Mix Jolly Good Soda Into Your Next Summer Cocktail

Summer is in full action and we know that in Wisconsin warmer weather brings delicious homemade cocktails and mocktails after work and on the weekends! This summer when you’re thinking about making your next mixed drink, add in a Discover Wisconsin favorite… Jolly Good Soda! Thanks to all of their fun flavors, it sure does make it easy to make an easy and delicious mocktail or cocktail to enjoy all summer long. 

Dirty Shirley

As many sources have shared, the Dirty Shirley has been unofficially named the 2022 Drink of Summer. What better way to create this delicious cocktail than with a Jolly Good Soda to pair? A Dirty Shirley is a classic and delicious drink that has been a fan favorite for quite some time, here is the Jolly Good Soda version!

Here’s the recipe:

  • ½ oz of Grenadine
  • 1 ½ oz of Vodka
  • 2 shots of Jolly Good Sour Pow’r Soda
  • 2 shots of Jolly Good Cherry Soda
  • Top with a Maraschino cherry

If you’re wanting a non-alcoholic option, all you have to do is remove the Vodka from the recipe and there you have it… A delicious summer mocktail!

Orange Creamsicle

A dreamy summer drink that imitates a delicious popsicle is something you’ll definitely want to test out this summer! This Orange Creamsicle cocktail is perfect for a hot day to cool off or something to relax after a long day of work. We’re pairing it up with a Discover Wisconsin favorite, Jolly Good Orange Soda. 

Here’s the recipe:

  • ¼ cup of whipped cream
  • ½ oz of Grenadine
  • 1 ½ oz of Whipped Cream Vodka
  • 3 oz Orange Juice
  • 4 oz of Jolly Good Orange Soda

This classic vanilla and orange drink can easily be created as a mocktail as well. Simply exchange the 1 ½ oz of Whipped Cream Vodka for 1 ½ oz of Vanilla Syrup and there ya go! 

Blue Raspberry Mojito

Yummmm! Does anything sound more like a summer cocktail than a Blue Raspberry Mojito? This cocktail is an absolute dream paired with a delicious Jolly Good Blue Raspberry Soda!

Here’s the recipe:

  • 3 raspberries & 3 blueberries
  • 3 mint leaves
  • ½ tsp of water
  • 1 ½ oz of Bacardi Silver
  • Splash of Jolly Good Blue Raspberry Soda
  • Splash of club soda

This delicious summer lemonade cocktail can easily be made into a mocktail as well. When creating your mocktail, we suggest removing the Bacardi Silver to find your perfect mocktail Mojito!

Fruit Punch

Summer and fruit punch are truly a perfect match! Spice up your next fruit punch cocktail with an addition of Jolly Good Fruit Punch Soda. You can shake up your next mix by following along with our Discover Wisconsin recipe. 

Here’s the recipe:

  • 1 oz of Vodka
  • 3 oz of Jolly Good Fruit Punch Soda
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • 1 oz Orange juice
  • Shake over ice!

If you’re wanting a mocktail instead of a cocktail, pull out the Vodka and you’ll be set to go!
