Fireside Dinner Theatre began with an ambitious couple, who moved to Jefferson County to raise their family. Dick and Betty Klopcic not only wanted to raise their family in the charming small town of Fort Atkinson, but also build a unique restaurant that would be both warm and welcoming to one and all in the community.

In 1964, they made their dream become a reality, building the Fireside Dinner Theatre. However, Fireside first started as a restaurant, prided in hospitality and high-quality food. Fast forward to 1978, the couple added on the theatre, creating an all-encompassing experience like never before.

Most recently, in 2015, the third generation purchased the business, preserving the magical experiences. From the dining area to the grand theatre, there’s magic and memories to be made throughout the entire building.
