Mark your calendars with the must-hear outdoor concerts and live music of the season. On Fridays, encapsulating tunes resound all day long starting with Fridays in the Park–a recurring lunchtime concert to hear while you eat fresh, local cuisine. When the night rolls in, cozy up nearby the Rock River and hear some fantastic–and FREE–entertainment from Music at Harry’s Place

There’s no denying that music makes you move! Join in on Dancing at Harry’s Place–FREE dance lessons for any and all that take place throughout the summer months of June, July, and August. Or, feel free to embrace your own moves and hit the dance floor at local night life hotspots like 5Bar

The summer fun doesn’t stop there. There are many festivals to stop by where you can hear the beautiful melodies of Beloit. This July, attend the Lager Than Life Beer Festival followed by Downtown Beloit Street Dance in August. With sensational music all season, you won’t want summer to end.

Summer must eventually come to an end, but with fall following, it’s hard to complain. Not only is Beloit’s landscape lush with color, it’s scattered with amazing cultural arts. From public art and galleries to museums and theaters, there’s so much to see!

As you venture downtown, see the numerous displays of public art in vibrant and various mediums like modern sculptures and magnificent murals. To ensure that you see all the stops, explore the new Beloit & Beyond Outdoor Art Trail where you can see both its beauty and learn about its backstory.

The city itself has its own extensive backstory that visitors can uncover at the local museums and art galleries, which showcase the best of Beloit. See amazing artifacts at The Logan Museum of Anthropology and nostalgic memorabilia at The Wright Museum of Art. You won’t believe your eyes! View and even have the chance to purchase a piece of Beloit’s fine art at Gallery ABBA or The Villager Gallery & Frame Shop

For more cultural arts, see the performing theaters & cinemas that each provide endless entertainment for visitors and locals alike. Central to the performing arts program, the Neese Performing Arts Center puts on various productions throughout the year open for viewing.
