Monona

In Monona, you can find Buck & Honey’s by land and by water. If you’re spending the day out on the boat on Lake Monona, you can pull right up to one of 23 boat slips at this Buck & Honey’s location and stop in for a quick lunch on the patio, or enjoy dinner and drinks at night. Or if you’re out on the Madison bike loop, a little off the path you can find the Monona location as well for a pit stop! Of course, if you’re a traditionalist, you can simply drive to this location as well!
If you’re someone who loves to see live music, Buck & Honey’s is perfect for you. As long as it’s a nice day, you will most likely see live music on the patio Wednesday nights through Saturday nights at 5:30pm! This location is perfect for enjoying a tasty meal, taking in the live music, and enjoying the views right off of Lake Monona. This location was nominated as Madison’s Best Outdoor Patio!
Insider’s tip: a lunch favorite is the Seared Ahi Salad (sesame seared rare ahi tuna, shredded Napa cabbage, mixed greens, cashews, apple slices and microgreens with a chili lime vinaigrette!)
Sun Prairie

If you’re looking to have an experience that you’ll remember for a while, you can find it at Buck & Honey’s in Sun Prairie! You’ll notice the upscale and casual atmosphere throughout this restaurant location. Like their spot in Monona, you can find another huge outdoor patio that also features live music throughout the week!
At Buck & Honey’s Sun Prairie, you can be sure to know that the dishes you are being served are truly unique and chef-inspired. Fun fact: Buck and Honey Birkinbine were one of the area’s best known residents who once owned and farmed the land where the Sun Prairie location sits today!

Waunakee

Did you know that Buck & Honey’s in Waunakee was voted as Madison’s Best New Restaurant in 2021? Well, now you do! This is the newest location that opened its doors last winter! There, you can again find live music four days a week and amazing meals to enjoy. While you’re visiting, be sure to check out the outdoor patio and enjoy the peaceful serenity that surrounds the restaurant, as the majority of it overlooks rolling farmland and neighborhood parks!
But what really makes this place a great restaurant to dine at? The feeling you get when you leave! Buck & Honey’s takes great pride in serving their guests the tastiest dishes and providing exceptional service every time you visit. This new location is perfect for anyone on the north end of Madison!
Insider’s tip: a delicious dinner favorite is the Ta’s Hot Comby (on a toasted hoagie is ham, salami and pepperoni, topped with green pepper, onion, a secret sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese!)
