Aside from the natural beauty of the snowy tree tops and frozen waters, a cozy, downtown go-to is Mable Theater where locals and visitors alike are welcome to settle in and watch prime performances.
Another local favorite is to cozy around the campfire and gather as a community while enjoying outdoor festivities of the season like the Menomonie Candlelight Ski and Hike. Along with this annual event, many family traditions have been made in Menomonie, including ice fishing on the frozen Lake Menomin.
Newly adopted and renovated, Woodwind Park provides the perfect place to create memories and keep the legacy of outdoor adventure alive. On site, visitors can enjoy ice skating, tubing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and much more.
Before heading out of town, Eric had to stop at Menomonie’s one-of-a-kind, once-a-train-station brewery known as Brewery Nonic that is rooted in this close-knit community.
