

February 29, 2024

The geology of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail is only one of the reasons to get out and explore this 1,000-mile trail. The sections we’ll explore wind through Lincoln, Langlade, Waupaca and Waushara Counties, as we meet experts and volunteers who dedicate their time and talents to the trail. We’ll learn what moraines, kettles, and erratics are and learn how they were formed over 12,000 years ago.
