Sunset Hill Stoneware World Record | Know Your Wisconsin
Over the last few months, Michael Weber has been training to break the World Record for “most pots thrown in an hour.” Weber has been a potter at Sunset Hill Stoneware for the past 5 years, but no amount of experience or training can prepare you for the pressure that comes with attempting to beat a World Record. For the past several months Weber has been practicing on weekends, working out the details and trying to find the best size clay ball to use. The number to beat was 193, and by the end of the hour, Weber’s official count was 212 making him the World Record holder!
