But when you come to the Northwoods, it’s all about immersing yourself in outdoor recreation and Tomahawk has it all: trails for ATVs, hiking, biking, golf, and of course water activities! It’s surrounded by the beautiful Spirit River Flowage, Lake Mohawksin, Lake Nokomis, Lake Alice and the Wisconsin River. There are quiet waters for paddlers, open water for powerboats, pontoons and jet skis, and plenty of opportunities for fishing and swimming. And don’t miss the Kwahamot Ski Team performance every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during the summer. Tomahawk has lots of fantastic dining options: waterfront restaurants, casual cafes, and supper clubs. The community hosts festivals and events all year long.
