From the treasured past to the tranquil parks, Eric and Megan make their way to South Wood County Park in Wisconsin Rapids. At the park, they encounter the beautiful Lake Wazeecha–the waters that hold the annual State Water Ski Show Tournament–miles of trails, and sandy beaches. To North Wood County Park, located in Marshfield, for more exciting outdoor adventures! Our crew checks out the grand 225-foot pedestrian bridge, peaceful walking trail, competitive disc golf course, and charming campgrounds on-site. Eric and Megan decide to divide and conquer to see all Wood County has to offer. Megan heads to Powers Bluff County Park to learn about its Native American roots, mountain bike trails, and more land adventures. Meanwhile, Eric ventures to Nepco County Park to get on the water for fishing fun. The duo reconvenes at Dexter County Park, reflecting on their discoveries and scenic drives through Pittsville. Together, they explore the county forest system, home to rustic forest trails and a stunning man-made impoundment. Thanks to the Pittsville Lions Club, Dexter County Park is kept pristine and full of possibilities, including high-speed adventures by ATV. For 90 years and counting, Wood County has provided outdoor adventures for one and all to enjoy.
