Another top choice is Rush Creek State Natural Area, known for its beautiful prairies and limestone bluffs. Here, you can enjoy a peaceful walk through a unique landscape filled with native plants. Keep your eyes open—you never know what you might discover!

For those interested in local history, the Fort Crawford Museum in Prairie du Chien is well worth a visit. Open from May through October, it offers insight into frontier life, early medicine, and even fascinating military history.
