The Club Behind It All

The beloved Northern Aged Iron Tractor & Threshing Show wouldn’t be possible without the Northern Aged Iron Tractor Club—the club behind it all. Comprised of current and past farmers and those with a distinct love of old iron, this club started humbly. Each member collectively pitched in—a can of gas.

They went from one machine, twelve tractors, and a few families to numerous machines (plus cars, hit-and-miss engines, threshers, and even wagons), close to 100 tractors, and up to three generations of families. Their mission continues to stay the same: to preserve Wisconsin’s agricultural roots.

Keeping the Tradition Alive

But the Northern Aged Iron Tractor Club is more than just a club. It’s a community—and a strong one at that! In fact, it’s so strong that some families are already in their third generation of membership. Through the Northern Aged Iron Tractor & Threshing Show, the club reaches and engages with the younger generations—keeping this long-standing tradition alive today.

For the members, preserving this knowledge is just as important as teaching it. With the past beautifully preserved, and the next generation in place, the future is looking bright for the Northern Aged Iron Club—and of course, the Tractor & Threshing Show. It grows with each and every year.

Plan ahead for September, because you won’t want to miss out on the spectacular Northern Aged Iron Tractor & Threshing Show! Bring the whole family and experience this one-of-a-kind Northwoods tradition firsthand. Who knows, it may just become your new favorite fall festivity!
