First: Apurba’s adventure! It’s all about cuisine and community, with a day spent exploring some of Janesville’s most welcoming spots.
Rotary Botanical Gardens
Begin at the beautiful Rotary Botanical Gardens. This 20-acre gem offers an award-winning showcase of some of the most stunning botanicals you can imagine. Fun fact: it’s ranked among the Top 20 Best Public Gardens in America and is home to one of the Top 25 Japanese Gardens in North America!
Sandee’s Thai Fusion & Little Sister Crepe Shop
After taking in the gardens, it’s time to dig into Janesville’s local flavor! Head to Sandee’s Thai Fusion for bold, authentic dishes. Serving only the freshest and finest ingredients, Sandee’s brings a flavorful flair to the city using family recipes. For a sweet treat, be sure to swing by Little Sister Crepe Shop for something absolutely delicious, like homemade bubble waffles or fruity boba teas!
608 Vintage & M.H. Vintage Collective
Between bites, explore the charming downtown with stops at a few favorite shops. 608 Vintage, voted Janesville’s Best Antique Shop five years in a row, offers 15,000 square feet of unique treasures and handmade goods. M.H. Vintage Collective features a mix of vintage and locally made products, from candles and clothing to home décor, jewelry, soaps, art, and more.
Music at the Marv
Wrap up the day with Music at the Marv, the perfect way to experience Janesville’s vibrant community and unwind after a full day of exploring. This free, summer-long concert series features local and regional acts every Tuesday from June through August—and yes, there will be food trucks and beverages!
Andrea’s Adventure: Fresh Finds & Fun

Up next: Andrea’s adventure! This fun-filled day in Janesville is all about fresh flavors, outdoor adventure, and a few good laughs along the way.
Janesville Farmers Market
Start it off with none other than the Janesville Farmers Market—one of Wisconsin’s best! Held every Saturday from May through October in the Town Square, 75+ local growers and makers showcase a wide variety of homegrown produce and handcrafted goods. Come hungry—from lattes to açaí bowls, there are so many fresh flavors to enjoy as you shop or take a break.
Palmer Urban Mountain Bike Park
After fueling up at the farmer’s market, it’s time to hit the trails! At the top of the list is Palmer Urban Mountain Bike Park, a.k.a. PUMP, an exciting spot for riders of all skill levels to get out and explore. The park features a pump track (no pedaling required), two cross-country loops for fitness riding, and two downhill lines with jumps!
Comedy Cabin
Close out the day at Comedy Cabin! This spot never disappoints when you’re in the mood for a good laugh. Featuring live performances from big names across the comedy scene, it’s most definitely the perfect place to end the night!
Eric’s Adventure: Shops & Sports

Onto Eric’s adventure—a day packed with must-visit shopping destinations and can’t-miss sports experiences right here in Janesville!
Bodacious Shops of Block 42
Any shopping enthusiasts following along? Bodacious Shops of Block 42 is a must-stop. Home to The Bodacious Brew (a great place to start for coffee), The Bodacious Olive (sample tastes of gourmet olive oils and vinegars), So Chopped (perfect for a lunch stop), and a retail shopping area, you’ll be amazed at all the ways you can sip, shop, and savor all under one roof.
Robot Fighter Records
Music lovers, this one’s for you! Head to Robot Fighter Records to browse a collection of true classics, from vintage vinyl to hard-to-find tapes and CDs. With a little bit of everything for everyone, including gems from the ’60s and ’70s, it’s a fun stop for any music lover. There’s just a certain magic in discovering music the old-school way!
Woodman’s Sports & Convention Center
Finally, for all our hockey fans, Woodman’s Sports & Convention Center is calling your name! Catch the Janesville Jets in action during their September to April season—a Tier II junior team featuring players from around the world. It’s affordable, family-friendly entertainment and a great way to experience the unmatched energy of live hockey in a state-of-the-art new venue.
Megan’s Adventure: Swing & Sip

Lastly: Megan’s adventure! Get ready for a day filled with swings, sips, and a whole lot of fun you can only find in Janesville.
Riverside Park
Kick things off at Riverside Park, home to twelve pristine pickleball courts! If you’ve never played, it’s like three sports rolled into one—ping pong, badminton, and tennis. Even better? It’s easy to learn and a great activity for all ages and skill levels. Interested in joining a club? The Janesville Pickleball Club might be just the thing for you.
Timber Hill Winery
Next, trade the court for the vineyard! With a wide variety of grapes and a wine list that changes with the seasons, there’s always something new to try at Timber Hill Winery in nearby Milton. Be sure to sample an all-time favorite, Throwback Thursday, a sweet red made with Concord grapes. Plus, you’ll find a full food menu and a lineup of exciting events, including Yoga in the Vineyard.
Papa Docs Axe Throwing
Cap off the day at Papa Docs Axe Throwing for a fun and interactive experience. Featuring 18 unique games and digital targets, it offers something for all ages and skill levels.
