  • 2026 USA Table Tennis Midwest Championship

    Beloit is proud to welcome USA Table Tennis for the 2026 Midwest Championship, taking place June 13-14, 2026, at the Beloit Memorial High School Fieldhouse. Practice sessions will be held on Friday, June 12, ahead of a full weekend of competition featuring approximately 250 athletes from across the region.

    The tournament will kick off on Saturday, June 13, with men’s and women’s singles competitions. Throughout the weekend, players will compete across a variety of age divisions, including Under 19, Under 17, Under 15, Under 13, Under 11, Over 40, and Over 60 categories, each featuring both male and female divisions.

    The event will be held at the Beloit Memorial High School Fieldhouse. Attendees can purchase concessions to support the school’s athletic booster clubs. Spectators are encouraged to attend and experience the fast-paced action throughout the weekend. Matches on both days are expected to begin around 9:00 a.m. and conclude at approximately 9:00 p.m.

    The Midwest Championship also serves as a qualifying event for athletes pursuing opportunities on the national and international stage, including the pathway toward the 2028 Summer Olympics, which will be held in Los Angeles, California.

    The series is put on by Friends of Riverfront and features jazz, blues, swing, and big band. Attendees bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and relax under the stars while enjoying the region’s hottest bands! There are also several food truck vendors offering a variety of tasty treats, soft drinks, and beer for those of age.

    The concerts take place on the bank of the beautiful Rock River in Riverside Park and offer breathtaking views of the sunset.

    Riverside Park is dog-friendly, so you are welcome to bring your furry friend as long as you have him on a leash.

    There will be no concert on August 7, 2026, due to the Downtown Beloit Association’s Street Dance.

    In celebration of the summer solstice and to showcase the musical talent in Beloit while uplifting the community, the fourth annual Make Music Day - Beloit will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026, as part of a free, citywide, and global event. Beloit will come alive with music in the streets, parks, offices, schools, and unique venues. Music will be performed by anyone and enjoyed by everyone.

    First originating in France in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique, it has expanded to more than 1,000 cities across 120 countries. Beloit is thrilled to participate in the music event as part of the lineup of cities across the world that offer performances. Wisconsin, once again, has more cities participating in Make Music Day than any other U.S. state.

    Musicians of all styles, ages, and talent levels are invited to register to perform. Venues can also offer their spaces at no cost. Just register, and we’ll take care of the musician-venue matchmaking.
