As spooky season approaches, Haunted Honey Creek is a must-attend! Mark your calendars for October 27th from 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock pm and get ready for an epic night of frights and fun. From cemetery tours and paranormal investigators to campfire ghost stories and pumpkin carving contests, you’re in for a thrilling treat.
Take advantage of the weather while it’s still warm and bike West Allis! Embark on a grand bike tour of National Avenue. Take in the views, whether it’s the fall foliage or public art scattered throughout the entire bike-friendly avenue. Look around, it’s everywhere–even on the utility boxes!
Along the way, stop and check out the unique local shops including Oniomania–a specialty gift store with a hand-crafted flare–and Transaction Skate Shop–the one and only skateboard shop in West Allis! By the time 3 pm rolls around, a whole new adventure awaits–Allis in Winterland! Taking place at the West Allis City Hall Art Gallery, Allis in Winterland transforms the space into a magical, Christmas-themed experience. This year, the event theme is Home Alone and includes an array of kid-friendly activities such as crafts and even letter-writing to Santa! Right next door, at the West Allis City Hall Centennial Plaza, watch the annual tree lighting at 4 pm followed by The West Allis Christmas Parade. That’s right, a night-time parade! It doesn’t get more magical than this.
Ready to brave the cold? From January 15 to the 20th, join in on West Allis Winter Week! That’s right! There will be events all week long including Cocoa Commotion, Winter Scavenger Hunt, and even a Soup Crawl! You won’t want to miss this unforgettable week in West Allis.
