It’s the best time of year for those seeking autumn beauty and fall festivals, it’s Bayfield Apple Festival time! The Bayfield Chamber & Visitors Bureau and its stakeholders are excited to invite you to one of “Wisconsin’s Best Festivals,” coined by Wisconsin Trails Magazine. Enjoy food and craft vendors all weekend long, live music from Big Top Chautauqua's Blue Canvas Orchestra and other area musicians at Memorial Park Gazebo for Concerts by the Lake. Don't miss the crowning of the Apple Festival Queen and/or King, the Spectrum Carnival and the Grand Parade down historic Rittenhouse Avenue on Sunday to wrap up the weekend's events!

October belongs to the Ghosts of The Grand during all 31 days of the spooky season! Haunted Happenings: Ghost Tours feature a trip into the past highlighting the 140-year history of the oldest operating theatre in Wisconsin and the spirit stories within.
Family Friendly Tours run 30-45 minutes each covering the history of The Grand, seeing behind the scenes of the theatre, and hearing spirit stories. Rated PG. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Every year, the Downtown Beloit Association hosts a Spring and Fall Wine Walk in beautiful Downtown Beloit. The Wine Walks feature more than twenty unique venues offering red, white, sweet, and dry wines.
General registration includes a commemorative wine glass and 2-ounce pours at 10 venues of your choice. There are only 400 tickets available, and attendees must be 21 or older. Check in at Downtown Beloit Association, 557 E. Grand Avenue.
VIP registration includes appetizers, wine tasting, a swag bag, a stainless steel wine tumbler from Medical Grade Aesthetics, a chance to win a $50 Downtown Beloit Gift Card, and more! Only 50 tickets are available, and attendees must be 21 or older. Registration starts at 1 pm at The Forge, 156 St. Lawrence, with drawings at 1:50 pm.
You can register early on Thursday, October 10 and Friday, October 11 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Downtown Beloit Association office located at 557 E. Grand Avenue.
